Anzhelika Yegorovna Glazkova (russian: Анжелика Егоровна Глазкова; born 28 December 1968, Kostroma) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 8th State Duma. Glazkova worked at a design institute in Kostroma and at the tax office. She was an accountant in the field of thermal power engineering in Kostroma. In 2006 Glazkova moved to Moscow. From 2006 to 2019, she worked as a chief accountant of the Moscow United Energy Company. She also worked as an advisor to Yury Afonin. Georgy Glazkov (russian: Георгий Фёдорович Глазков) (18 November 1911 – 18 November 1968) was a Soviet football player and coach who played as a forward. Career Glazkov spent much of his playing career between 1935 and 1947 at Spartak Moscow although during the Great Patriotic War in 1941 played for Zenit Moscow and MVO Moscow in 1945. Nikita Yuryevich Glazkov ( rus, Никита Юрьевич Глазков, , nʲɪˈkʲitə ɡɫɐˈskof, born 16 April 1992 in Moscow) is a Russian left-handed épée fencer, three-time team European champion, and 2021 team Olympic silver medalist. Glazkov competed in fencing at the junior level, and was part of the winning team in team épée at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenchzhen. Since 2021, he fenced at professional level. In 2014, Glazkov was included to the Russian national team. His coaches are Nikolay Tokarenko and Ildar Kamaletdinov. Nikolay Ivanovich Glazkov ( rus, Николай Иванович Глазков, p=nʲɪkɐˈlaj ɪˈvanəvʲɪtɕ ɡlɐˈskof, a=Nikolay Ivanovich Glazkov.ru.vorb.oga; 30 January 19191 October 1979) was a Soviet and Russian poet who coined the term samizdat. Life Glazkov was born in the village of Lyskovo, in what is now Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. His father was a lawyer and his mother a teacher of German language. The family moved to Moscow in 1923. Glazkov began writing poetry at a very early age. As a student, he attended the literature faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical University. In 1938 his father was repressed during the Great Purge, and in 1940 Glazkov was thrown out of university as a relative of an enemy of the people. Soon afterwards, however, he was allowed to attend Maxim Gorky Literature Institute, from which he graduated in 1942. Vyacheslav Valeriyovych Glazkov ( uk, В'ячеслав Валерійович Глазков, born 15 October 1984) is a Ukrainian former professional boxer who competed from 2009 to 2016. He challenged once for the vacant International Boxing Federation, IBF heavyweight title in 2016, losing to Charles Martin (boxer), Charles Martin due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The injury eventually forced him to retire from the sport. Yury Nikolayevich Glazkov (russian: Ю́рий Никола́евич Глазко́в; 2 October 1939 – 9 December 2008) was a Soviet Air Force officer and a cosmonaut. Glazkov held the rank of major general in the Russian Air Force. Biography Born in Moscow, in the USSR, Glazkov graduated from Kharkov Military Engineering High School in 1962, receiving the candidate of technical sciences degree. He served as a flight engineer in the Soviet Air Force before being selected as a cosmonaut on 23 October 1965. He flew as a Flight Engineer on the Soyuz 24 mission. He retired from the cosmonaut corps on 26 January 1982. After Soyuz 24, he was made a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was awarded a doctorate in technical sciences in 1974, and in 1989 he became the first Deputy Chief of Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, a position from which he retired in May 2000.
