Suzanne Lappin
Suzanne Lappin (born 13 October 1986) is a Scottish former international football midfielder who last played for Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL) before retiring in 2015. She began her senior career with Glasgow City in 2003 before spending two seasons in the English FA WSL with Liverpool Ladies in 2011 and Chelsea Ladies in 2012; her time at Liverpool also included a loan spell at Celtic. Lappin re-signed with Glasgow City in 2012. Lappin has 11 caps and 3 goals for the Scotland women's national football team. Joanne Love (born 6 December 1985) is a Scottish international footballer who plays as a midfielder. Since 2011 she has played for Glasgow City, having previously played in Scotland for Kilmarnock and Celtic, in the English FA Women's Premier League for Doncaster Rovers Belles and in the United States for Cocoa Expos. FC Zürich Frauen is a women's association football club from Zürich, Switzerland. Its first team plays since the founding of the Swiss national league in 1970 in the first division. The team has won 23 national championships and has won the Cup 15 times. 2014 Scottish Women's Premier League
The 2014 Scottish Women's Premier League was the thirteenth season of the Scottish Women's Premier League, the highest division of women's football in Scotland since its inception in 2002. The competition started on 16 March 2014. A total of twelve teams contested the league. Glasgow City were the reigning champions. Queen's Park and Inverness City were promoted from the SWFL First Division after finishing 1st and 3rd respectively, with Queen's Park appearing in the Premier League for the first time. Celtic Reserves who finished as First Division runners-up, were unable to be promoted as league rules stipulate each club may field only one team in the Premier League. The Women's Super League (WSL), currently known as the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's football in England. Established in 2010, it is run by the Football Association and features twelve fully professional teams. The league replaced the FA Women's Premier League National Division as the highest level of women's football in England, with eight teams competing in the inaugural 2011 season. In the WSL's first two seasons, there was no relegation from the division.
