Glapwell Football Club are a football club based in Glapwell in Derbyshire, England. They are currently members of the and play at Hall Corner. History After originally playing as the Young Vanish FC in the mid-to-late 1980s, the club played for the first time as Glapwell FC in 1989 when they joined the National League System for the first time playing in the Central Midlands Football League Division One. in 1992β93 under manager Roy Overton, and helped by the goalscoring form of former Chesterfield player Dave Waller, the club won the Supreme Division as well as the Wakefield Cup at Field Mill against bitter rivals Oakham United F.C. With Waller in the dugout two seasons later the club finished as runners-up and were finally suitably placed for promotion to the Northern Counties East Football League. Glapwell is a village and civil parish on the A617 road in the Bolsover District of north east Derbyshire, between the towns of Chesterfield (7 miles) and Mansfield (5 miles) and Bolsover (3 miles to the north). With 1,467 residents, increasing to 1,503 at the 2011 Census, Glapwell is situated atop a steep hill, adjoining the village of Bramley Vale, which lies at the bottom of the hill. Accrington Stanley Football Club is a professional association football club based in Accrington, Lancashire, England. Neil Grayson (born 1 November 1964) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Grayson's first club was local outfit Rowntree Mackintosh, playing in the Northern Counties East Football League Division One. He was snapped up by Doncaster Rovers in March 1990 where he stayed for just over a year. He has had spells at a number of clubs at various tiers, including York City, Chesterfield and Northampton Town in the Football League. Whilst at Northampton he scored the fastest ever hat-trick by a Northampton player, in five minutes against Hartlepool, and also helped the Cobblers win the Division Three playoffs. In 1997, he dropped back into non-league football with Hereford United who paid Β£20,000 for him. The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8).
