Gjøvik Fotballklubb was a Football in Norway, Norwegian women's football (soccer), women's football club from Gjøvik. It founded on August 15, 1991, it played in the First Division, the second tier in Norway. The club was a merger between the women's football sections of Vind and Raufoss IL, Raufoss. Originally named Raufoss/Vind FK, in 1996 the club changed its name to Gjøvik FK. After the 2009 1. Divisjon, 2009 season, however, the club had run out of funds and faced hardships in acquiring training space. The team subsequently relocated to Raufoss. Their most famous player was cross-country skier Ingvild Flugstad Østberg. is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Toten. The administrative centre of the municipality is town of Gjøvik. Raufoss IL
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. Ingvild Flugstad Østberg (born 9 November 1990) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who has competed since 2008. Career She won her first competition in the sprint event in the Tour de Ski on 31 December 2013. Her previous best individual World Cup finish was a second place at a sprint event on 1 January 2013 held in Val Müstair, Switzerland during Tour de Ski. She won four gold medals during the 2009 Junior World Championship in Praz de Lys-Sommand, but had to settle for a fifth place in the team sprint event during the 2009 World Championship in Liberec, along with Astrid Jacobsen.
