Gjelleråsen IF
Gjelleråsen Idrettsforening is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Gjelleråsen in Nittedal, founded 6 March 1935. It has sections for association football, floorball, human swimming, swimming, gymnastics and skiing. Their club colours are green and white. The women's football team had a stint in the Toppserien in 1996, but was relegated that season. Its top goalscorer was Marianne Pettersen, who was awarded the league ''Player of the Year'' award and won an Olympic bronze medal in Football at the 1996 Summer Olympics, 1996, but left the team upon relegation. The men's football team currently resides in the Norwegian Third Division. Former players include Kristian Flittie Onstad (on youth level) and Lasse Olsen. Toppserien
The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984 1. divisjon (women), 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Østlandet, Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Vestlandet, Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Trøndelag, Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). Lasse Olsen
Lasse Olsen (born 18 November 1973) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a forward for Gjelleråsen, Strømsgodset, Aalesund, and Mjøndalen. He is the son of former Vålerenga player Terje Olsen. After the 2008 season, his contract with Aalesund was not renewed. He initially contemplated retirement, but in late December he was signed by SK Herd together with former teammate Karl Oskar Fjørtoft. From 2012 he continued to play in the lower divisions of Møre og Romsdal. Embarking on a manager career, he remained as junior and B team coach in SK Herd. He managed Averøykameratene in 2018 before moving on to Tomrefjord. Kristian Flittie Onstad
Kristian Flittie Onstad (born 9 May 1984) is a Norwegian professional football defender who plays for Moss. Career He comes from a little place in Skedsmo, Lahaugmoen. He went to NTG ( Norges Toppidrettsgymnas) high school. Kristian started his senior career at Lyn. At Lyn, he made 73 appearances. In 2006, Kristian had a transfer to the Danish elite club Esbjerg FB. In the 2009 season he was loaned out to SK Brann. After a loan spell at SK Brann, he was released from his contract at Esbjerg FB. On 18 January 2010 Kristian signed a three-year deal with Stabæk Fotball. It was terminated in the summer. Marianne Pettersen
Marianne Iren Pettersen (born 12 April 1975) is a Norwegian footballer. She was a forward for the club Asker, whom she joined from Gjelleråsen after the 1996 season, and became the top scorer with 36 goals in the 1998 season of 18 matches. Career For the Norwegian national team, Pettersen debuted in 1994, scoring against Italy. In the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup held in Sweden, she scored three times to help the Norwegian team win its first World Cup, including the second goal in Norway's 2-0 win over Germany in the tournament final. In 1999 when she was 22 she created a record in the Women's Euros when she scored four goals in a single match. The match was against Denmark at Lillestrom and the final score was 5-0. Overall, she scored 66 goals in 98 international matches. She retired in 2003, after competing in the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics.
