Give Me The Future
''Give Me the Future'' is the fourth studio album by British indie pop band Bastille, released on 4 February 2022 through EMI Records. It was executive produced by Ryan Tedder. The album was preceded by the singles "Distorted Light Beam", "Give Me the Future", and "Thelma + Louise", and subsequently announced alongside the release of the fourth single "No Bad Days". A fifth single titled "Shut Off the Lights" launched nearly three weeks prior to album release. A deluxe version of the album was released on 7 February 2022. It includes the single " Survivin'” from their 2020 ''Goosebumps'' EP. Bastille toured the UK and Europe starting in April 2022 in support of the album. A super deluxe version of the album, entitled ''Give Me the Future + Dreams of the Past'', was released on 26 August 2022, split into three "paths": ''Give Me the Future'', ''Dreams of the Past'' and ''Other People's Heartache'', which includes fourteen new tracks and is the fifth installment into Bastille's s ... Bastille (sometimes stylised as BΔSTILLE) are an English pop rock band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records. Their first studio album, '' Bad Blood'', was released in March 2013 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number one and included the hit single "Pompeii" which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. These musical sounds are created through the use of music coding languages. There are many music coding languages of varying complexity. Music programming is also frequently used in modern pop and rock music from various regions of the world, and sometimes in jazz and contemporary classical music. "Dancing in the Dark" is a song written and performed by American rock singer Bruce Springsteen. Adding uptempo synthesizer riffs to his sound for the first time, the song spent four weeks at number two on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and sold over one million singles in the U.S. It was the first single released from his 1984 album, ''Born in the U.S.A.'', and became his biggest hit, helping the album become the best-selling album of his career. "Dancing in the Dark" was also successful worldwide, becoming Australia's highest-selling single of 1984 (despite peaking at number five on the Kent Music Report), peaking at number one in Belgium and the Netherlands, and charting within the top 10 in seven other countries. Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo (; born 26 August 1991) is a Brazilian musician, DJ, and record producer. He is known for his single "Hear Me Now (Alok song), Hear Me Now". Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known as Spinall (styize as SPINALL; formerly DJ Spinall), is a Nigerian disc jockey, record producer, songwriter, label executive, and media personality. He first gained prominence in 2004, while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM. He later joined Industry Nite where he promoted underground talents at the weekly platform. He was the official DJ to Wande Coal while he was affiliated with Mavin Records. He created a style edge to his outfit known as TheCAP, tracing his roots back to his culture.
