Giuseppe Mascara (; born 22 August 1979) is an Italian football coach and former player who played as a striker or a wide forward. Club career Ragusa Mascara started out playing for the youth side of Sicilian amateurs Comiso before transferring to nearby club Ragusa to start his professional career. There, he earned some valuable experience over a two-season period, turning out for the first team and scoring 5 goals in 29 appearances. The 2009–10 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 108th season of top-tier Italian football, the 78th in a round-robin tournament. There were three promoted teams from the Serie B, replacing the three teams that were relegated following the 2008–09 season. Nike provided a new match ball – the T90 Ascente – for this season. Following the season, citing a larger television contract, the seventeen teams that survived the season and the three promoted sides formed a new league akin to England's Premier League. The title race was only settled on the last day of the season. The title was won by Internazionale, their fifth title in a row. Stadio Renzo Barbera (commonly known as La Favorita) is a football stadium in Palermo, Italy. It is currently the home stadium of Palermo F.C. team. The stadium was inaugurated during the fascist era on 24 January 1932, and was originally named Stadio Littorio after the Italian word for the fasces symbol. The opening match was Palermo vs Atalanta, with Palermo winning 5–1. A running track surrounded the pitch and there were no stands behind either goal.
