Giuliano Frano
Giuliano Frano (born May 16, 1993) is a Canadian soccer player. Club career Early career Frano began his college career at the University of Montevallo. In his two seasons with the Falcons, he made a total of 40 appearances and tallied four goals and 13 assists. In 2013, Frano transferred to Boston College. In his first season with the Eagles, he made 18 appearances and led the team with four goals. He also had two assists. In his senior year, he made 16 appearances. Seattle Sounders 2 On March 21, 2015, Frano signed a professional contract with USL club Seattle Sounders FC 2. He made his professional debut that same day in a 4–2 victory over Sacramento Republic FC. On April 11, 2015, Frano scored his first professional goal in a 2–1 victory over Portland Timbers 2. Portland Timbers 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Portland, Oregon. The team, often referred to as "T2", serves as the reserve squad for the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer (MLS). The team was a member of the USL Championship from 2015 to 2019, and was in the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid beginning in 2016. The organization withdrew from the 2021 USL Championship season so it could better transfer players to its parent club during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2018 League1 Ontario Season
The 2018 Men's League1 Ontario season was the fifth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Vaughan Azzurri won the league championship and earned entry into the 2019 Canadian Championship; the top national tournament for men's soccer teams. Vaughan captured the league double for a second time by also winning the L1 Cup, a feat they first achieved in 2016. FC London finished the season with the best regular season record, earning 38 points in 16 games. The 2017 Men's League1 Ontario season was the fourth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. For the first time, the league expanded to include teams in the nation's capital, Ottawa, allowing it to span from the western to eastern borders of southern Ontario. Changes from 2016 The men's division remained at 16 teams for this season, with the addition of Ottawa South United and the departure of the Kingston Clippers. The 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the fourteenth edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organized by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. Pacific Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Greater Victoria, British Columbia.
