Alfio Giuffrida, also known as Alfio Giuffrida AG Sinnwerke (born 28 January 1953 in Zafferana Etnea) is a contemporary Italian sculptor, installation artist, set designer and painter. Biography Giuffrida's interest in art began at an early age. He describes making a scale model reproduction of the church in his home town, which he worked on for years. Apparently, he remade the artwork multiple times. The uncompromising striving for perfection, aiming at the best possible expression of his creative visions, would always stay with him in years to come as well. He painted in his youth. He experimented with the possibilities of painting and collage techniques. His paintings feature calm and blue spaces. The blister packing he adds to the pictures evokes the image of a computer keyboard, and also looks like a picture taken from space of geographical and city structures, a bird's eye photo of urban landscapes seen through a lunar filter. Giuffrida Répaci (born March 19, 1964, in Turin, Italy) is an Italian journalist, director of the magazine La Lettre b. Education and career Giuffrida Répaci completed a degree in Law in 1990 at the University of Genoa. He also studied at the City of London Polytechnic and the King's College London. Répaci started his career as journalist in 1982, as speaker at the radio station ''Radio Riviera Tre''. In 1989 he moved to ''Radio One'' and became a reporter for the News Agency ''Hi News''. In 1994 Giuffrida Répaci moved to Brussels to become correspondent of the Agency ''L’Altra News''. In 2003 Répaci founded the News Agency DSPRESS and became editor in chief of the magazine ''L’Incontro”. In 2010 he was named as director for the news magazine La Lettre b. Odette Giuffrida (born 12 October 1994 in Rome) is an Italian judoka. She competed at the 2023 World Judo Championships, where she placed third in the women's 52 kg. Career She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the women's 52 kg event, in which she won the silver medal. Giuffrida recompeted again at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, in the women's 52 kg event, where she won the bronze medal against Réka Pupp of Hungary. She won one of the bronze medals in her event at the 2022 Judo Grand Slam Tel Aviv held in Tel Aviv, Israel.
