"Gitty Up" is a song by American hip hop girl group Salt-N-Pepa from their fifth studio album, '' Brand New'' (1997). It was released as the album's second and final single. "What a Man" is a song written by Dave Crawford, and originally recorded for Stax Records' Volt imprint by Linda Lyndell, whose recording reached number 50 on the ''Billboard'' R&B chart in 1968.
