Gitarkameratene
Gitarkameratene is the name of a Supergroup (music), supergroup of well-known Norwegian recording and touring artists. The group included Lillebjørn Nilsen, Halvdan Sivertsen, Jan Eggum and Øystein Sunde. The name ''Gitarkameratene'' means approx. "The guitar buddies". The four singers used the name for the first time when they toured together in 1988. They released two records. The second recording, "Typisk Norsk" / Typically Norwegian (1990), sold 60–70,000 units. Since then the group has played together on various occasions. While all four worked on their own material, they also worked and appeared together in concerts and on recordings. When four other Norwegian artists (Espen Lind, Kurt Nilsen, Askil Holm and Alejandro Fuentes) have played together, they have often been referred to as ''De nye Gitarkameratene'' ("The new guitar buddies"). Lillebjørn Nilsen
Bjørn "Lillebjørn" Falk Nilsen (born 21 December 1950) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and folk musician. He was born in Oslo, and is considered by some to be the leading "voice of Oslo", thanks to numerous classic songs about the city from the 1970s and onwards. He also makes up the Norwegian supergroup Gitarkameratene with Jan Eggum, Halvdan Sivertsen and Øystein Sunde. In 1987 he received the Fritt Ord Honorary Award. Nilsen has collaborated with his friend and idol Pete Seeger on numerous occasions. He adapted Pete Seeger's song ''My Rainbow Race'' into Norwegian as ''Barn av regnbuen'' ("Children of the Rainbow"). Anders Behring Breivik said that he hated that song, and saw it as a symbol of " cultural Marxism" and multiculturalism. In response, on 26 April 2012, over 40,000 Norwegians sang it publicly outside his trial.

Jan Eggum
Jan Eggum (born 8 December 1951) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. He has been characterized as a "face for the melancholy", and the themes in his songs are often broken hearts, loneliness, and sorrow. Sometimes his lyrics include social criticism, but he also shows trivial and funny sides of himself. Career Eggum was born in Bergen, but started as a pub singer in London, and made his living for two years writing songs in English. One of his most famous songs – "En natt forbi" ("A night is over") – was originally written in English, with the title "Alone, Awake". He got a record contract in 1975 with the Norwegian record company CBS, and recorded his debut album "Trubadur" that autumn. His breakthrough came after his third release, the album "Heksedans" from 1977. This album gave him the Norwegian award Spellemannsprisen, and on this album has such classics as "Mor, jeg vil tilbake". Halvdan Sivertsen
Halvdan Sivertsen (born 5 January 1950) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was born in Tromsø, but raised and lives in Bodø. He has won Spellemannprisen awards five times, twice with his group Gitarkameratene, and received the ''Culture Prize of Nordland county'' in 2000. His album ''Kjærlighetslandet'' reached number eight on the Norway albums chart. Øystein Sunde
Øystein Olaf Sunde (born 24 January 1947) is a Norwegian folk singer and guitarist. He is known for his high-speed guitar and banjo style and his satirical lyrics. Although often regarded as a comedian, Sunde is a versatile guitarist who has played with several Dixieland bands and jazz combos over the years. Early years He was born 24 January 1947 in Oslo, but his family moved to Skarnes in 1954 where Sunde went to school. In 1955, the family moved back to Lambertseter in Oslo and Sunde continued school there. The same year he started playing piano, but he did not like this because he was forced to rehearse scales and partially because his teacher could play boogiewoogie and Sunde was not allowed to do so by his teacher. Supergroup (music)
A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Espen Lind (born 13 May 1971) is a Norwegian record producer, songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is one half of the production team Espionage, and together with his long time partner Amund Bjorklund he has written and/or produced songs for artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Train, Jennifer Hudson, Emeli Sande and Selena Gomez. Kurt Nilsen
Kurt Erik Nilsen () (born 29 September 1978) is a Norwegian pop/country singer. He won the first season of the Norwegian reality show ''Idol'', which aired on TV 2 in May 2003. He then won a one-off international version of ''Pop Idol'' called ''World Idol'' on 1 January 2004, featuring winners of the various national ''Idol'' shows. Askil Holm (born June 1, 1980) is a Norwegian singer and musician from Namsos. Alejandro Fuentes
Alejandro Javiero Fuentes (born 5 November 1987 in Chile) is a Norwegian singer. He rose to prominence after finishing third in Norwegian Idol's third season in 2005. Later in 2005, he released the album ''Diamonds and Pearls'', which reached gold by the end of the year.
