Gisborne Boys' High School is a boys' secondary school situated in Gisborne, New Zealand. It was founded as a co-educational school in 1909 as Gisborne High School. In 1956, the school became Gisborne Boys' High School when it was split into two single-sex schools. Toa Halafihi (born 27 November 1993) is a New Zealand-born Italian professional rugby union player who primarily plays number eight for Benetton of the United Rugby Championship. Tutekawa Wyllie
Tutekawa "Tu" Wyllie (born 24 October 1954) is a former New Zealand politician and rugby union player. A first five-eighth, Wyllie represented Wellington at a provincial level, and played one match for the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1980. He was the New Zealand First Member of Parliament for Te Tai Tonga from 1996 to 1999. Early life Born in Manutuke, Wyllie affiliates to the Ngāi Tāmanuhiri, Ngāti Ruapani and Rongowhakaata iwi. Beaudein Waaka (born 27 January 1994) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays for in New Zealand's domestic National Provincial Championship and for Skyactivs Hiroshima in the Japan Rugby League One competition. Blade Neville Thomson (born 4 December 1990) is a former professional rugby union player who played as a lock or loose forward. Hānara Tangiāwhā Te Ōhakī "Arnold" Reedy (16 August 1903 – 8 April 1971) was a New Zealand tribal leader, farmer and soldier. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngāti Porou iwi. Miah Nikora (born 28 April 1985 in Gisborne, New Zealand) is a professional rugby union player and head coach from New Zealand. Charlie Ngatai
Charlie James Ngatai (born 17 August 1990) is a New Zealand professional rugby union player who plays as a centre, although he can also cover other backline positions. Ngatai last played for Leinster Rugby in Ireland, having previously been Captain of the Chiefs, Taranaki Rugby Football Union and of the Māori All Blacks internationally.
