Prince ''(Ethiopian aristocratic and court titles, Abeto Lij)'' Girma Yohannes Iyasu (born 1961) is the Iyasuist claimant to the throne of Ethiopian Empire. He is also known by the name Girma Amente Ghebresillasie. Life He is the son of ''Dejazmatch'' Yohannes Iyasu (1915-1977). She is the co-founder and executive director of African Women in Business, a non-governmental organisation established in April 2010 to train women for leadership roles, and has established several charities. Haben Girma (born July 29, 1988) is an American disability rights advocate, and the first deafblind graduate of Harvard Law School. Early life and education Girma was born in Oakland, California in 1988 to an Eritrean immigrant family. Her father Girma Kidane Adgoy was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and her mother Saba Gebreyesus was born in Asmera, Eritrea. Sultan Haydar (; born May 23, 1985 in Golerogi, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian-born Turkish long-distance runner. The tall athlete at is a member of Enkaspor, where she is coached by Nikola Borić. Born Chaltu Girma Meshesha in Ethiopia, she started off her career as a middle distance runner and was the bronze medalist in the 800 metres at the 2005 African Junior Athletics Championships. Berhanu Girma Degefa (born 22 November 1986) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes in road running events for Canada. His personal best for the marathon is 2:06:09 hours and he was the 2012 winner of Grandma's Marathon. Berhanu made his debut over the marathon distance in 2009, competing at the Casablanca Marathon and finishing fifth with a time of 2:15:57 hours. His next outing at the 2010 Valencia Marathon saw a three-minute improvement to 2:12:51 hours. He was also fifth at the Košice Peace Marathon that year. Adane Girma ( am, አዳነ ግርማ; born 25 June 1985) is an Ethiopian footballer who plays for Wolkite City. He was a member of the Ethiopia national team from 2006 to 2015 and made 45 appearances scoring 9 goals. Club career Adane began his career with Hawassa Kenema FC in summer 2007, then left the team and moved to Saint-George SA. He was later transformed to striker, a role in which he did very well by being one of the best scorers of the Ethiopian Premier League in the 2009–10 season. He can also play at full-back. Girma Wolde-Giorgis (; 28 December 1924 – 15 December 2018) was an Ethiopian politician who was the president of Ethiopia from 2001 to 2013. He was the second person to hold the office of president since the founding of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in 1995. Early life Girma was born on 28 December 1924 in Addis Ababa. He first attended an Ethiopian Orthodox Church school and later joined the Teferi Mekonnen School in Addis Ababa where he followed his education until the Italian invasion. The school was then renamed Scuola Principe di Piemonte (Prince of Piedmonte School) for the Crown Prince of Italy.
