Girls Club (TV Series)
''Girls Club'' (sometimes styled in all-lowercase girls club) is an American television series created by David E. Kelley that was shown on Fox in the United States in October 2002. It is often compared to '' Ally McBeal'', another series created by Kelley, which ended in May 2002. Plot Three young, female lawyers share a deep friendship and a common desire to leave their mark on the legal system. After graduating, they move to San Francisco where they find employment in the same law firm called Myers, Berry, Cherry & Fitch. There, the women attempt to break through the barriers of the male-dominated workforce. A legal drama is a genre of film and television that generally focuses on narratives regarding legal practice and the justice system. The American Film Institute (AFI) defines "courtroom drama" as a genre of film in which a system of justice plays a critical role in the film's narrative. ''Girlfriends'' is an American sitcom television series that premiered on September 11, 2000, on UPN and aired on UPN's successor network, The CW, before being cancelled in 2008. The WB
The WB Television Network (for Warner Bros., or the "Frog Network", for its former mascot, Michigan J. Frog) was an American television network launched on broadcast television on January 11, 1995, as a joint venture between the Warner Bros. Peter James Ellis (28 January 1948 – 24 April 2006) was a British director of television episodes, including episodes of shows such as “Supernatural” and “Criminal Minds”. Personal life He was born in London and educated at Highgate School, as were his brothers, Robin Ellis and Jack Ellis. Martha Coolidge (born August 17, 1946) is an American film director and former President of the Directors Guild of America. She has directed such films as ''Valley Girl'', ''Real Genius'' and '' Rambling Rose''. Early life Coolidge was born in New Haven, Connecticut. She is a granddaughter of Arthur W. Coolidge, former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, who was a fourth cousin of President Calvin Coolidge. Todd Holland (born August 13, 1961) is an American film and television director and producer. He directed over 50 episodes of ''The Larry Sanders Show'', for which he received an Emmy, and 26 episodes of ''Malcolm in the Middle'', for which he received two Emmy Awards.
