Girlpool
Girlpool were an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad. Their debut self-titled EP ''Girlpool'' was released on Bandcamp in 2014 and re-released on Wichita Recordings later that year. They released their debut album ''Before the World Was Big'' in 2015, followed by ''Powerplant'' (2017) and '' What Chaos Is Imaginary'' (2019). Their fourth and final studio album, ''Forgiveness'' (2022), was released on April 29. In August 2022, the duo announced that they will be taking an indefinite break from the band. What Chaos Is Imaginary
''What Chaos is Imaginary'' is the third studio album by American duo Girlpool. It was released on February 1, 2019 through Anti- Records. Release and promotion On October 9, 2018, Girlpool released the double single "Lucy's" and "Where You Sink", their first release to feature Tucker singing much deeper than he did previously due to taking testosterone. On November 13, the band released the single "Hire", and announced ''What Chaos Is Imaginary''. Girlpool toured the United States in April and May 2019 to promote the album. ''Powerplant'' is the second studio album by American band Girlpool. It was released on May 12, 2017 through Anti-. Composition The songs on ''Powerplant'' have been seen as "blink-and-you'll-miss-em grunge lullabies", as well as having the "loud-quiet-loudness" of alternative rock throughout. Wichita Recordings is an independent record label located in London, founded in 2000 by Mark Bowen and Dick Green. Its most notable signees include Bloc Party, The Cribs, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Best Coast, Los Campesinos! and Peter Bjorn and John. Sasquatch! Music Festival
Sasquatch! Music Festival was an annual music festival held at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington, United States. It took place on Memorial Day weekend, running for three to four days. In 2018, it was announced that the festival was canceled indefinitely and would not return in 2019. About the festival Sasquatch! typically featured a range of musical genres, with the emphasis being on indie rock bands and singer-songwriters, but also including alternative rock, hip hop, EDM, and comedy acts. Cocteau Twins was a Scottish rock band active from 1979 to 1997.
