The O'Kaysions are an American pop band from Kenly, North Carolina that first formed in 1959. They are best known for their 1968 million-seller " Girl Watcher". Career The group first formed under the name The Kays in 1959, and scored a Top 10 hit in the U.S. in 1968 with the tune " Girl Watcher" (#5 Pop, #6 R&B).Biography Allmusic.com The song was first released on the North State record label owned by Ronald Killette (Buck Trail), then based in Goldsboro, N.C., under the production of John I Whitfield . Beau Jocque (born Andrus Espre; November 1, 1953 – September 10, 1999) was a Louisiana French Creole zydeco musician and songwriter active in the 1990s. Beau Jocque is known for his gruff vocals, his fusion of many musical styles into zydeco, and above all, for the powerful energy of his rhythm and sound. Backed by the Hi-Rollers, he became one of the top dance-hall acts of his musical decade. He wrote, recorded and performed many songs in both Louisiana French and Louisiana Creole languages, as well as in English, primarily on the Rounder Records label. Spontaneous Combustion was an American music group founded in 1986. They performed what they called "bluerock", a bluegrass/rock music fusion. The band consisted of Roger Eilts (guitar, vocals), Leo Eilts (bass, vocals), Scott Prowell (mandolin, banjo, dobro, vocals) and Marvin Gruenbaum (violin, vocals). Tam White (12 July 1942 – 21 June 2010) was a Scottish musician, stonemason and actor. Biography Born Thomas Bennett Sim White in Edinburgh, Scotland, White was primarily known as a blues vocalist with a trademark gravelly voice. In the 1960s he recorded with beat groups the Boston Dexters and then the Buzz, who recorded one single with record producer Joe Meek in 1966.
