Giribabu
Yerra Seshagiri Rao, popularly known as Giri Babu, is an Indian actor, producer, and director who primarily woks in Telugu films. His son, Raghu Babu, is a notable actor-director. Career Giri Babu hails from a middle class agricultural family in Ravinuthala village Prakasam district. He moved to Madras to pursue a career in films. Babu started his career as a lead actor but later portrayed antagonistic and comedic roles. Rustum (1984 Film)
''Rustum'' is a 1984 Telugu-language action film, produced by S. P. Venkanna Babu under the Maheswari Movies banner and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Chiranjeevi and Urvashi (in her Telugu film debut), with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was recorded as a ''Hit' at the box office. Plot The movie starts with Ganga Rayudu, the village panchayat head, who judges a dispute between Musalaiah and a rowdy, Gangaiah, Musalaiah left the village under some unknown circumstances and returned after fifteen years, he learns that his house and farm were illegally acquired by Gangaiah and he is unwilling to return the property to Musalaiah, hence they came to the Panchayat. Devathalara Deevinchandi is a Telugu-language film directed by Kommineni Seshagiri Rao. His debut film was hit and resulted in many successful films later. It is remake of '' Nagin'', a highly successful 1976 Hindi film, which in turn was inspired by François Truffaut's film ''The Bride Wore Black'', based on Cornell Woolrich's novel of the same name. The plot The story revolves around five close friends: Mohan (Ranganath), Kubera Rao (Haribabu), Muralikrishna (Chandramohan), Giri (Eswara Rao) and Ravindra (Madala Rangarao). ''Mundadugu'' () is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language drama film produced by D. Rama Naidu of Suresh Productions and directed by K. Bapaiah, starring Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Sridevi and Jaya Prada.
