Giovan Battista Ruoppolo (1629–1693) was a Neapolitan painter of still-lifes. Life He was a pupil of Paolo Porpora (1617–1673), a contemporary of Salvatore Rosa. Additional Porpora pupils who formed a school of still-life painters in Naples were Giovan Battista, Giuseppe Recco, and Ruoppolo's brother of Giuseppe Ruoppolo. Giovanna Garzoni
Giovanna Garzoni (1600–1670) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. She began her career painting religious, mythological, and allegorical subjects but gained fame for her botanical subjects painted in tempera and watercolour.Jordi Vigué. Giacomo Nani
Giacomo Nani (1698 in Porto Ercole – 1755 in Naples) was an Italian painter, mainly of still-life paintings and of porcelain. Biography According to De Dominici, he was a pupil of Andrea Belvedere and Gaspare Lopez. In marriage documents from 1726, he stated his trade as a painter. His older son, Mariano Nani, was a painter active in Spain. Works by Nani are listed in an inventory by the Duchess of Terranova in 1723, and by the Duke of Limatola in 1725. He is said to have collaborated with the figure painter Paolo de Matteis. Two dozen of his canvases, originally in the Royal Palace in Naples, were sent to Spain by the king Charles VII of Naples to his mother, the former Queen Isabella Farnese, and are presently conserved in the Royal Palace of Riofrío. Andrea Belvedere
Abate Andrea Belvedere (born 1646) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. Life and Work It is believed that the painter was born not in 1646, as De Dominici reported, but around 1652, based on the discovery, by Prota Giurleo, of the act of death from which it appears that he died in Naples on 27 June 1732 at the age "of 80 years". The pictorial activity of Andrea Belvedere took place for twenty years, from about 1674 to 1694, the year in which he, evidently preceded by his notoriety, moved to Spain, called by King Charles II. His work at Spanish court continued until 1700, but on his return to Naples, Belvedere abandoned painting to devote himself completely to theatrical activity.
