Giorgos Paligiorgos
Georgios Paligeorgos ( el, Γεώργιος Παληγεώργος; born 9 February 1990) is a Greek footballer currently playing for Tyrnavos in the Greek Football League. He has previously played for AEK Athens, Anagennisi Karditsa, Thrasyvoulos, Ethnikos Asteras and Iraklis. He began his career at "Elpides Agriniou", and moved to AEK's youth teams in the summer of 2005. Along with Panagiotis Tachtsidis, Michalis Pavlis, Savvas Gentsoglou and many other AEK youth players, they compose a group of players that AEK bases a lot on for the future of the club. Agrinio
Agrinio (Greek: Αγρίνιο, , Latin: ''Agrinium'') is the largest city of the Aetolia-Acarnania regional unit of Greece and its largest municipality, with 106,053 inhabitants. Panagiotis Tachtsidis ( el, Παναγιώτης Ταχτσίδης; born 15 February 1991) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Emirati club Khor Fakkan. Club career AEK Athens Tachtsidis was scouted by Toni Savevski, the head of AEK Athens's youth academy at the time, and signed his first professional contract with AEK on 1 November 2007. Shortly after signing his first professional contract, Tachtsidis made his debut for AEK in the Greek Cup against Fostiras. Gymnasticos Syllogos Iraklis ( el, Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Ηρακλής, en, Gymnastics Club Heracles), commonly referred to as Iraklis, is a Greek multi-sports club based in Thessaloniki. The club was founded in 1908 as "Macedonikos Gymnasticos Syllogos" (''Macedonian Gymnastics Club'') and is one of the oldest and most historic sports-clubs in Greece. Savvas Gentsoglou ( el, Σάββας Γκέντσογλου, ; born 19 September 1990) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Club career AEK Athens Savvas Gentsoglou was promoted from the AEK Athens youth system to the senior side in 2006, but didn't make his first appearance for AEK until the 2008–09 season. On 25 June 2008, Gentsoglou renewed his contract with AEK until 2014. Gentsoglou was first used as a central defender by coach Dusan Bajevic. Michalis Pavlis ( el, Μιχάλης Παυλής; born 29 September 1989) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker, and current AEK Athens B assistant manager. Club career Early career Pavlis started football on his regional team in Mytilene called Aetos Loutron, where he was located by Toni Savevski, who brought him to AEK Athens, the team that he supported as a child.
