Giorgos Chatziioannidis
Giorgios Chatziioannidis ( el, Γιώργος Χατζηιωαννίδης; 1 June 1960 – 22 July 2012) was a Greek professional footballer who played as striker. Club career Chatziioannidis started football from playing from a young age at Aetos Skydra. In 1978, the youth team of AEK Athens, as the champion of the southern group in the amateur championship, competed in Trikala against PAOK, the champion of the northern group, to win the league title. The team got the victory and with it the title and then moved to Skydra for a friendly match with the local team so that the people of the club can check Chatziioannidis who was then playing there. The tall forward left an excellent impression and in the summer of 1978 he transferred to AEK. He began to compete with the youth team of the club with which he won the championship by defeating the youth team of Panathinaikos in the final. Thomas Mavros
Thomas Mavros ( el, Θωμάς Μαύρος, born 31 May 1954) is a Greek former international football player who played as a striker. He was "the flag" of AEK Athens, that led the club to huge success, during the 70's and 80's. Mavros is regarded as one of the best players to play club football in Greece having scored a record number of 260 goals in the Greek championship and played for the World XI in 1984. 1982–83 Greek Football Cup
The 1982–83 Greek Football Cup was the 41st edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 74 teams participated, each with their own favorite brand names, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 40 from Beta, and 16 from Gamma. It was held in 7 rounds, included final. An Additional Round was held between First and Second, with 5 matches, in order that the teams would continue to be 32. For first time participated teams from Gamma Ethniki, while that year the particular division was established. The Final was contested by AEK Athens and PAOK. The two teams not only met themselves for a fourth consecutive year in the competition (PAOK had qualified the three previous times), but also 5 years afterwards AEK Athens' win in 1978 Final. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. Mojaš Radonjić (Cyrillic: Мојаш Радоњић; born 23 February 1949) is a Montenegrin football manager and former player. Club career Radonjić started football at the age of 17, where he played with Lovćen and then transferred to Budućnost Titograd in 1976, where in the 1980–81 season he emerged as the second scorer in the Yugoslav league, with 15 goals. In his time at Budućnost Titograd, he became the club's all-time top scorer in the Yugoslav First League. He also briefly played overseas for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League. Dušan "Duško" Bajević ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Бајевић, ; gr, Ντούσαν Μπάγεβιτς, ''Doúsan Báyevits''; born 10 December 1948) is a Bosnian professional Manager (association football), football manager and former player. František Fadrhonc
František Fadrhonc (18 December 1914 – 9 October 1981) was a Czech football manager, who was born in Nymburk, Austria-Hungary, present day Czech Republic. He coached many teams in Europe, mostly in the Netherlands. After winning the Dutch championship with Willem II Tilburg in 1952 and 1955, he coached SC Enschede and Go Ahead Eagles. In 1970, he took over the Netherlands national team and was their coach as they qualified for the 1974 FIFA World Cup, besting, among others, their rivals Belgium. However, it was Rinus Michels who took over in 1974 and who led them in the finals of that tournament. Fadrhonc left the Netherlands for Greece to coach AEK Athens in the 1975–76 football season. He stayed until 1977. During that period, he led AEK to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the 1977.
