Named after an energy drink, "Giné" serves as 6ix9ine's first release in over a year, following his previous single, "Zaza", which was released on February 19, 2021. The song was written solely by the artist and produced by Ray Keys. It marks 6ix9ine's first release following his second studio album, ''TattleTales'' (2020). Twerking (; possibly from 'to work') is a type of dance that came out of the bounce music scene of New Orleans in the late 1980s. Individually performed chiefly but not exclusively by women, performers dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving throwing or thrusting their hips back or shaking their buttocks, often in a low squatting stance. Only the Family, often abbreviated as OTF, is a rap collective from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed by rapper Lil Durk in 2010.
