Ginetta G57 P2
The Ginetta G57 P2 is a sports prototype developed by British car constructor Ginetta Cars. The car made its race track debut in 2016. History Ginetta Cars revamped its sports prototype production with the acquisition of Juno Racing Cars in 2014. For 2015 Ginetta-Juno the brand launched the LMP Track Car. After launching the Ginetta-Juno LMP3, the company launched the G57 P2. This sports prototype was fitted with a more powerful LS based GM small-block engine#4.06 in bore blocks (2014 – current), Chevrolet LS3 engine. Also the G57 P2 has 30% more downforce that its LMP3 relative. The official launch was at the Autosport International show in January 2016. The G57 P2 made its racing debut at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the V de V Endurance Series. Four cars entered the race, all four finished. Ginetta Cars Limited is a British specialist builder of racing and sports cars based in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. History 20th century Ginetta was founded in 1958 by four Walklett brothers (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Their first product, the Fairlight, was a glass-fibre body shell priced at £49 for fitting to a Ford chassis. The first car, not destined for production, which subsequently became known as the Ginetta G1, was based on a pre-war Wolseley Hornet six. The four Walklett brothers each had their areas of expertise: Bob was the managing director, Douglas was the mechanical engineer and also handled the electrical work, Ivor was the designer and Trevers was the stylist, working closely with Ivor. Michael Keith Simpson (born September 8, 1950) is an American politician and former dentist serving as the U.S. representative for since 1999. The district covers most of the eastern portion of the state, including Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Sun Valley, Twin Falls and the northern two-thirds of Boise. A member of the Republican Party, Simpson was first elected to public office in 1984, and was elected to the House in the 1998 elections, succeeding Mike Crapo. Ryan Michael Carpenter (born January 18, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey center for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL). Playing career Ryan Carpenter's family is from Staten Island, New York. Following in his father's footsteps, he was a New York Rangers fan as long as he can remember. Carpenter grew up in Orlando, Florida where he attended Timber Creek High School. In his youth hockey playing career he played for the Central Florida Hockey Club. He started his junior career with the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL. He played two seasons with Sioux City before moving on to Bowling Green State University. Colton Thomas Herta (born March 30, 2000) is an American open-wheel racing driver currently competing in the NTT IndyCar Series for Andretti Autosport with Curb-Agajanian. He is the youngest person to ever win an IndyCar Series race. He is the son of IndyCar and Champ Car driver Bryan Herta.
