''Gindari 2: Bahubuthayo 3'' ( si, ගින්දරී 2 - බහුබූතයෝ ''3'') is a 2022 Sinhalese comedy mystery film written and directed and produced by Udayakantha Warnasuriya. The film served as a sequel to the 2015 film ''Gindari'', which is the third installment of ''Bahubuthayo'' film series. Rodney Warnakula, Mahendra Perera and Paboda Sandeepani in reprise their lead roles along with Saman Hemaratne and Srinath Maddumage. Music composed by Ananda Perera. Production The filming starts in January 2019. Scenes in the film were shot in and around the towns of Colombo, Sri Lanka for 45 days. ''Bahubuthayo'' (also spelled ''Bahu boothayo''; si, italic=yes, බහුබූතයෝ) is a 2002 Sinhala comedy mystery film written and directed by Udayakantha Warnasuriya, and co-produced by the director himself with Deepa Fernando for Fun Flower Films. The film features Paboda Sandeepani, Mahendra Perera and Rodney Warnakula in the leading roles while Vijaya Nandasiri, Richerd Manamudali, Srinath Maddumage, and Quintus Weerakoon in supporting roles. Music composed by Ananda Perera. The film is the prequel in 2015 Gindari film. Produced by EAP circuit cinemas, showed more than 50 theatres. Rashmini Paboda Sandeepani Pathirana, (born 16 January 1982) is a Sri Lankan cinema, theatre and television actress.
