Gimmix (comics)
Merry Pemberton, also known as Gimmick Girl and Merry, Girl of 1000 Gimmicks is a fictional character in the DC Comics Universe. She is the adoptive sister of Sylvester Pemberton. Merry Pemberton first appeared in ''Star-Spangled Comics'' #81 in June 1948, and ran through #90 (March 1949). She was created by writer Otto Binder. Fictional character biography Born Merry Creamer, she is adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Pemberton Sr., the parents of the original Star-Spangled Kid. She soon adopts a crime-fighting persona and works with her brother and Stripesy, ultimately supplanting them in their own feature. According to ''Jess Nevins' Encyclopedia of Golden Age Superheroes'', Merry "fights her male opposite, the Gimmick Guy; Presto, a criminal stage magician; and the Rope, who uses rope-themed gimmicks". Icicle (comics)
Icicle is the name of two supervillains appearing in comic books published by DC Comics: Joar Mahkent and Cameron Mahkent (father and son; to differentiate between the two, the suffixes, Senior and Junior, are used). A version of the character appeared in the fifth season of the Arrowverse show ''The Flash'', portrayed by Kyle Secor. This version is Thomas Snow who is the father of Caitlin Snow. Icicle also appeared in the first season of '' Stargirl'' as Jordan Mahkent, the main antagonist and leader of the Injustice Society, portrayed by Neil Jackson while Hunter Sansone appeared as his son Cameron Mahkent. Justice Society Of America
The Justice Society of America (JSA, or Justice Society (JS)) is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team was conceived by editor Sheldon Mayer and writer Gardner Fox during the Golden Age of Comic Books. The JSA first appeared in ''All Star Comics'' #3 (Winter 1940–1941), making it the first team of superheroes in comic books. The original members of the Justice Society of America were Doctor Fate, Hourman, the Spectre, Sandman, Atom, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman.
