Gilman Housing Trust
RuralEdge, formerly known as Gilman Housing Trust, is a non-profit housing and community-development corporation that focuses on affordability. The corporation has served the Northeast Kingdom for over 30 years with their main focus being to strengthen homes and communities in and around the Northeast Kingdom, in the northeast corner of the U.S. state of Vermont. History RuralEdge began in 1986 with a focus on providing housing for families, seniors, and those with disabilities. In 1998, Rural''Edge'' became a Chartered Member of the NeighborWorks America Network. Leadership Patrick Shattuck has been the Executive Director of RuralEdge since 2019. The points of the compass are a set of horizontal, radially arrayed compass directions (or azimuths) used in navigation and cartography. A compass rose is primarily composed of four cardinal directions—north, east, south, and west—each separated by 90 degrees, and secondarily divided by four ordinal (intercardinal) directions—northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest—each located halfway between two cardinal directions.
