Gilles Senn
Gilles Senn (born 1 March 1996) is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender for HC Davos of the National League (NL). Senn was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, he moved to North America in 2019, mainly playing with New Jersey's American Hockey League affiliate. He made his NHL debut that year, playing two games for the Devils. Internationally Senn has been named to the Swiss national team for several tournaments, but has not played in any games. Playing career As a child, Senn was encouraged to play hockey after watching his brother train with Visp. He alternated between forward, defence, and goalie, before eventually settling for goaltender. Hockey Club Davos is a professional Swiss ice hockey club based in Davos, Switzerland. Davos plays in the National League (NL). The team is usually a strong force in the league and often bolster their roster with Swiss national team players and players who once played for National Hockey League teams. The Binghamton Devils were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) that played from 2017 to 2021 as the top minor league affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL)'s New Jersey Devils. Based in Binghamton, New York, the Devils played their home games at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The team began play in Binghamton during the 2017–18 season. Reto Berra
Reto Berra (born 3 January 1987) is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the National League (NL). Berra played seven seasons in Switzerland's National League A, spending time with the GCK Lions, HC Davos and SCL Tigers before joining EHC Biel in 2009 where he was the team's starting goaltender for four years. He was an NHL draft pick of the St. Louis Blues, selected in the fourth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and was traded to the Calgary Flames, with whom he made his NHL debut in 2013–14. The 2017–18 National League season is the 80th season of Swiss professional ice hockey and the first season as the National League (NL). The change from National League A to National League was made at the end of the 2016–17 season. ZSC Lions won their 9th NL title, defeating HC Lugano in game 7 of the finals. 2018 IIHF World Championship
The 2018 IIHF World Championship was an international ice hockey tournament hosted by the Danish cities of Copenhagen and Herning, held from 4–20 May 2018. The IIHF announced the winning bid on 23 May 2014 in Minsk, Belarus. South Korea made its debut at the World Championship, having played in the lower divisions previously. Sweden went undefeated at the tournament to win their second consecutive and eleventh overall title after defeating Switzerland in the final. Mackenzie Blackwood (born December 9, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Blackwood was the top-rated North American goaltender ranked in the NHL Central Scouting Bureau's final rankings for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
