Gilberto Serembe (born 17 December 1955, in Milan) is an Italian Conductor (music), conductor and professor. Biography Serembe studied Composition (music), Composition and Conducting at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, Conservatorio "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan with Bruno Bettinelli and Mario Gusella. He later attended the Superior Course in Conducting at the "Accademia Chigiana" in Siena under the guidance of Franco Ferrara. Teatro Regio Of Turin
The Teatro Regio (Royal Theatre) is a prominent opera house and opera company in Turin, Piedmont, Italy. Its season runs from October to June with the presentation of eight or nine operas given from five to twelve performances of each. Several buildings provided venues for operatic productions in Turin from the mid-16th century, but it was not until 1713 that a proper opera house was considered, and under the architect Filippo Juvarra planning began. However, the cornerstone was not laid until the reign of Charles Emmanuel III in 1738 after Juvarra's death. The work was supervised by Benedetto Alfieri until the theatre was completed and decorated by Bernardino Galliari. Elisabetta Brusa
Elisabetta Olga Laura Brusa (born 3 April 1954) is an Italian composer naturalised British. Brusa was born in Milan, and as a child wrote 32 piano pieces. At the Milan Conservatory she formally studied composition with Bruno Bettinelli (who also taught famous Italian conductors like Claudio Abbado and Riccardo Muti) and Azio Corghi, graduating in 1980. She then taught Composition at the Conservatorios of Vicenza, Mantova and Brescia before arriving at the Conservatorio of Milan in 1985. She also received instruction from Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and Hans Keller. Daniele Rustioni
Daniele Rustioni (born 1983) is an Italian conductor. Biography Rustioni was born in Milan, and studied piano, organ, and composition at the Milan Conservatory. He sang in the boys choir of the Teatro alla Scala in his youth. He studied cello for 3 years, and later piano and organ. Rustioni studied conducting under Gilberto Serembe at the Milan Conservatory and under Gianluigi Gelmetti at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana. Whilst at the Royal Academy of Music in London, his mentors included Gianandrea Noseda, who gave him the opportunity to make his debut as a conductor with the orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin in 2007. For 2008–2009, Rustioni was a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
