Gil Dudson
Gil Dudson (born 16 June 1990) is a Welsh professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Super League and Wales at international level. He played for Crusaders RL in the Super League, and on loan from Crusaders at the South Wales Scorpions in Championship 1. Dudson has also played for the Wigan Warriors, Widnes Vikings, Salford Red Devils and the Catalans Dragons in the top flight. Background Dudson was born in Trowbridge, Cardiff, Wales. Trowbridge is a district, community and coterminous electoral ward on the eastern edge of the city of Cardiff, capital of Wales. The community and electoral ward includes some or all of the areas of the St Mellons estate and Trowbridge, as well as part of the Wentlooge Levels between the mainline railway and the coast. 2017 Rugby League World Cup Qualification – Europe
The 2017 Rugby League World Cup Europe qualification was a rugby league tournament held in October and November 2016 to decide the three European qualifiers for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. It consisted of a round-robin tournament which saw Wales and Ireland qualify by winning their respective tables. Italy claimed the final qualifying spot in the World Cup after winning a second place play-off against Russia on 4 November 2016. The 2011 Rugby League Four Nations tournament (also known as the 2011 Gillette Rugby League Four Nations due to sponsorship by Gillette) was the third staging of the Rugby League Four Nations tournament and was played in England and Wales during October and November 2011, which was contested by regular contestants Australia, England and New Zealand, in addition to Wales, who had qualified for their first Four Nations by winning the 2010 European Cup.
