Gigi Savoia (born 30 November 1954), also known as Luigi Savoia, is an Italian actor. Career Savoia was born in Naples. He debuted in theatre in 1980 with ''Pescatori'', written by Raffaele Viviani and directed by Mariano Rigillo. Currently he recites in Eduardo De Filippo's comedy ''Le voci di dentro'' directed by Francesco Rosi. Luigi "Gigi" Proietti (2 November 1940 – 2 November 2020) was an Italian actor, voice actor, comedian, musician, singer and television presenter. Early life He was born in Rome to Romano Proietti, originally from Umbria, and Giovanna Ceci, a housewife. During his youth he was keen on singing and on playing guitar, piano, accordion and double bass in several Roman nightclubs. He enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the La Sapienza University, where he attended the mimicry courses of the University Theatre Centre held by Giancarlo Cobelli, who immediately noticed his talent as a musician and booked him for an avantgarde play. ''The Last Day of a Condemned Man'' (french: Le Dernier Jour d'un Condamné) is a novella by Victor Hugo first published in 1829. It recounts the thoughts of a man condemned to die. Victor Hugo wrote this novel to express his feelings that the death penalty should be abolished. Genesis Victor Hugo saw several times the spectacle of the guillotine and was angered at the spectacle that society can make of it. It was the day after crossing the "Place de l'Hotel de Ville" where an executioner was greasing the guillotine in anticipation of a scheduled execution that Hugo began writing ''The Last Day of a Condemned Man''. He finished very quickly. The book was published in February 1829 by Charles Gosselin without the author's name.
