Gigi Edgley (born 16 November 1977) is an Australian actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her roles as Chiana on the series ''Farscape'' and Lara Knight in '' Rescue: Special Ops''. Early life Edgley was born in Perth. She is the daughter of theatre, concert and circus promoter Michael Edgley, known for bringing the Moscow State Circus to Australia during the 1980s. Her mother, Jeni Edgley, was formerly involved in managing a 250-acre (101 hectare) health retreat. As a child, Gigi Edgley performed both in and out of school. She also took several years of ballet, jazz, and character dance. She became mainly interested in acting and had her first professional theatrical engagement at the Twelfth Night Theatre. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queensland University of Technology in 1998. Philip Pirrip, called Pip, is the protagonist and narrator in Charles Dickens's novel ''Great Expectations'' (1861). He is amongst the most popular characters in English literature. ''The Starter Wife'' is a 2007 USA Network television miniseries, based on the 2006 novel of the same name by Gigi Levangie Grazer. Its title is derived from the concept of a starter marriage. Filmed over four months in Queensland, Australia, the plot focuses on Molly Kagan (Debra Messing) who, after years of marriage to a Hollywood film mogul, is forced to redefine herself and her role in society when her husband leaves her for a younger woman. The mini-series premiered with a two-hour presentation on May 31, 2007 at 9:00 pm ET. The Peacekeeper Wars
''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'' is a military science fiction miniseries written by Rockne S. O'Bannon and David Kemper and directed by Brian Henson. Following the original series' cancellation in September 2002, it aimed to wrap up the cliffhanger and tie up some elements of the series in general. It was broadcast on 17 and 18 October 2004. Henson and others have attributed the return of ''Farscape'' to the ongoing campaign of fans. Production began in December 2003. In May 2004 the Sci-Fi Channel, now owned by NBC Universal, announced that it would run a two-episode conclusion titled ''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars''. Henson refers to the three hours as episodes 4.23–4.26, though the New South Wales Film Office refers to the production as a "2 × 2 hour telemovie" (including commercials).
