Gibraltar Division 2 Cup
The Gibraltar Division 2 Cup is a special football tournament exclusively organized for clubs participating in the Second Division. On 2 March 2017 the Gibraltar Football Association announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with Chestertons Gibraltar, due to which the competition was renamed "The Chestertons Cup". Chestertons Gibraltar became the first sponsor of the competition since its inception. No tournament as held in 2018 due to redevelopments at Victoria Stadium, but the competition returned in the 2018–19 season. 2018–19 Gibraltar Division 2 Cup
The 2018–19 Gibraltar Second Division Cup was the twelfth edition of the second division cup tournament on Gibraltar, and second under its current title. After a year without the tournament due to renovations to the only stadium on the territory, Victoria Stadium, the tournament returned in January 2019 during the 2018–19 Gibraltar Second Division's mid-season break. Gibraltar Phoenix are the reigning champions, having won the last title in 2017, however they are unable to defend their title as they were promoted to the Gibraltar Premier Division at the end of the 2016–17 Gibraltar Second Division season. The draw for the group stage was made along with first round draws for the 2019 Rock Cup and 2018–19 Gibraltar Intermediate Cup on 29 November 2018.

2017–18 Gibraltar Premier Division
The 2017–18 Gibraltar Premier Division was the 119th season of the top-tier national football league in Gibraltar, as well as the fifth season since the Gibraltar Football Association joined UEFA in 2013. The league was contested by ten clubs. It began on 26 September 2017 and ended on 3 June 2018. Europa were the defending champions, having ended a fourteen-year winning streak for Lincoln Red Imps. This season also saw three clubs from Gibraltar competing in European competition for the first time. Lincoln won their 23rd title on 19 May 2018 with two games to spare, after a 7–1 victory over Lions Gibraltar.
