Gianni Ravera
Giandomenico "Gianni" Ravera (born Lenin Ravera, 9 April 1920 - 15 May 1986), was an Italian singer, impresario and record producer. Pippo Barzizza
Giuseppe "Pippo" Barzizza (; 15 May 1902 – 4 April 1994) was an Italian composer, arranger, conductor and music director. Giuseppe Barzizza, called Pippo, was born in Genova on 15 May 1902, and died in Sanremo on 4 April 1994. He became famous in the 1930s and 1940s, at the beginning with Blue Star Orchestra and then with Orchestra Cetra. He composed songs and film soundtracks. His treatise, "Barzizza's method" was printed in 1952. The Castrocaro Music Festival, also known as Concorso per Voci Nuove, is an Italian musical contest which takes place every year in the town of Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole, near Forlì, from 1957. Armando Trovajoli
Armando Trovajoli (also Trovaioli, 2 September 1917 – 28 February 2013) was an Italian film composer and pianist with over 300 credits as composer and/or conductor, many of them jazz scores for exploitation films of the Commedia all'italiana genre. He collaborated with Vittorio De Sica on a number of projects, including one segment of ''Boccaccio '70''. Trovajoli was also the author of several Italian musicals: among them, ''Rugantino'' and ''Aggiungi un posto a tavola''. Trovajoli was the husband of actress Pier Angeli. Carlo Savina
Carlo Savina (2 August 1919 - 23 June 2002) was an Italian composer and conductor who composed, arranged, and conducted music for films, and is especially remembered for being the music director of films such as ''The Godfather'' (1972), '' Amarcord'' (1973), and '' The Bear'' (1988). Savina worked with many of the notable film score composers of the 20th century including: Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Nino Rota, Mario Nascimbene, Stanley Myers, Stephen Sondheim, Philippe Sarde, and Miklos Rozsa. Angelo Cinico, best known as Cinico Angelini (12 November 1901 – 7 July 1983), was an Italian conductor, arranger and violinist. EIAR
Ente Italiano per le Audizioni Radiofoniche (EIAR, "Italian Body for Radio Broadcasting") was the public service broadcaster in Fascist Italy and the only entity permitted to broadcast by the government. History The company was established in 1927, after the partial takeover of the private radio broadcaster Unione Radiofonica Italiana (URI), which since 1924 had been the only organisation authorized to establish radio transmitters and run radio broadcasts in Italy. Between 1929 and 1939, the EIAR presented the first television broadcasting tests in Italy. An early signing to the TV station in 1939 was the Italian singer Lia Origoni and a film was made to record her performance. For most of its existence it was run by Giancarlo Vallauri, although he was replaced as president by Ezio Maria Gray during the Italian Social Republic period.
