Ghungroo Ki Awaaz
''Ghungroo Ki Awaaz'' () is a 1981 Bollywood Horror-Mystery Film directed by the Ramsay Brothers and produced by Vijay Anand. It features Vijay Anand, Rekha in the lead roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman. It was loosely inspired by the Hollywood thriller ''Vertigo''. Plot Thakur Ranjeet Singh buys Kajal's freedom from a panderer and installs her in his house with the status of a daughter-in-law, much to the disgust of his uncle, Jasbeer. When the sleazy Shakaal turns up and arranges a secret meeting with Kajal, Ranjeet believes that he has caught his beloved being unfaithful. He exacts a fearful retribution. Ramsay Brothers is a pseudonym or brand name used for a family of Bollywood filmmakers, the sons and grandsons of F.U. Ramsay. They are famous for making the genre of horror films synonymous with the name "Ramsay Brothers." Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. Sayedna Iftekhar Ahmed Sharif (22 February 1924 – 4 March 1995), often mononymously credited as Iftekhar, was an Indian actor who mainly worked in Hindi cinema. He is known for his role as a police officer. Career Iftekhar was born in Jalandhar and was the eldest among four brothers and a sister. After completing his matriculation, Iftekhar did a diploma course in painting from Lucknow College Of Arts. Iftekhar had a passion for singing and was impressed with the famous singer Kundanlal Sehgal. In his 20s, Iftekhar travelled to Calcutta for an audition conducted by the music composer Kamal Dasgupta, who was then serving for HMV.
