Ghar Sansar (1942 Film)
''Ghar Sansar'' (Home Life) is a Bollywood film. It was released in 1942. The film was a family melodrama produced by Sunrise Pictures and directed by Vishnu M. Vyas, who also wrote the screenplay. The story was written by Mohan G. Dave. The music was composed by Shyam Babu with dialogues and lyrics by Ehsan Rizvi. It starred Sardar Akhtar, Mazhar Khan, Nazir and Kajjan in the main roles. The story is about an elder brother and his wife called Bhabhi (sister-in-law), who make sacrifices in order to bring up the husband's younger brother. The situation in the family gets emotionally worsened when the younger brother marries and his wife creates mis-understandings. Sardar Akhtar
Sardar Akhtar (1915–1986) was an Indian actress who worked in Hindi and Urdu films. She started her acting career on the Urdu stage. Her early films were with Saroj Movietone, where she did a majority of stunt (action) roles. She came into prominence as the washer-woman in the role of Rami Dhoban in Sohrab Modi's '' Pukar'' (1939). As a woman seeking justice for the death of her husband, it was a breakthrough role for her. A popular song she sang in the film was "Kaheko Mohe Chhede". Her career defining role was as a "peasant woman" deserted by her husband, in Mehboob Khan's '' Aurat'' (1940), a role later made famous by Nargis in Mehboob's remake ''Mother India''. Nazir Ahmed Khan
Nazir Ahmad Khan ( ur, ) (1904 – 26 August 1983) was a Pakistani film actor, director and producer. Biography It was back in 1929, when a young artistic man left the city of Lahore to go to Calcutta to fulfill his passion and make movies. This man was Nazir Ahmed Khan (1910-1983), a Kakazai Pathan, determined to make a mark on the silver screen of the sub-continent. Nazir Ahmed Khan was a versatile and renowned Pakistani/Indian film actor, director and producer. He was the first successful film hero in Pre-Partition India and later in Pakistan. He was widely known as Bao Jee in the film industries on both sides of the border. Mazhar Khan (actor, Born 1905)
Mazhar Khan (18 October 1905 – 24 September 1950) was an actor-producer-director in Indian Cinema. He was widely known for his natural performances. He started his career as a police officer, which he left to study law for a short period. Abandoning his studies he came to Bombay and started his career in cinema with the silent film ''Fatal Garland'' opposite the top actress of the time, Ermeline. He became a popular actor, gaining success in several silent films. During his stint in silent films he worked with well-established directors like Bhagwati Mishra, Ezra Mir, Moti P. Bhagnani, R. S. ''filmindia'' is an Indian monthly magazine covering Indian cinema and published in English language. Started by Baburao Patel in 1935, ''filmindia'' was the first English film periodical to be published from Bombay. The magazine was reportedly run "single-handedly" by Patel, who wielded power through this medium to "make or destroy a film". Its most popular column was "The Editor's Mail" answered by Patel. The magazine featured film news, editorials, studio round-ups, gossip, and reviews of different language films, mainly from Hindi and regional cinema and affiliated reviews from Hollywood. His articles included siding with the lesser known cinema workers like the technicians, extras and stuntmen. Patel met the painter S. M.
