''Ghana Must Go'' is a 2016 Ghana-Nigerian romantic comedy film, directed by Frank Rajah Arase. It stars Yvonne Okoro, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Nkem Owoh. The film tells a story of two lovers of different countries on origin, and the challenges they faced especially from parents after disclosing their intention of getting married. This is the second film from Desamour Company, since Contract (2012 film) The film was screened privately at Filmhouse Cinemas, Surulere in May 2016. Frank Rajah Arase (born Frank Rajah Efosa Arase) is a Nigerian film director. Arase is a native of Edo State, Nigeria. He was nominated for '' Best Director'' at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Early life Arase was born in Benin City, Edo, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos where he started his film career. Career Arase ventured into the show business at a very young age. He started out as a theatre practitioner in Nigeria; he was a dancer for National Theatre troupe and also acted in stage plays. The deportation of West African migrants from Nigeria occurred following a January 1983 executive order from President Shehu Shagari, which forced illegal aliens to leave the country or face arrest. As a result of Shagari's order, over two million migrants were deported, including one million Ghanaian nationals.
