Ghalajeh tunnel (Persian: تونل قلاجه) or Arba'een tunnel is a tunnel half of which is located in Eyvan County in Ilam Province and the other half in Gwawar District of Gilan-e Gharb County in Kermanshah Province of Iran Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, and also called Persia, is a country located in Western Asia. It is bordered by Iraq and Turkey to the west, by Azerbaijan and Armenia to the northwest, by the Caspian Sea and Turkmeni .... It connects Ilam Province northward to Kermanshah Province. Inaugurated in 2017 with a length of 2.500 meters, it was the third longest tunnel in Iran at the time. Road 48 (Iran)
Road 48, unofficially called Karbala Highway, is in Markazi Province, Hamedan Province, and Kermanshah Province in western Iran. It is very important for Iranian government and Iranian people, since many people go to Karbala and Najaf (two Shi'a holy cities) by this road. It reaches the Khosravi international border crossing with Iraq. Freeway 6 runs parallel to the road from Saveh to Kurijan with plans to run parallel all the way to the border with Iraq at Khosravi.
