Vida Ghahremani ( fa, ویدا قهرمانى; 12 June 1936 – 1 June 2018) was an Iranian-born American film and stage actress, writer, and educator. Early life and education Vida Ghahremani was born 12 June 1936 in Tehran. She began acting in films as a teenager, under the mentorship and influence of Khan Baba Motazedi. Her earliest work was in 1955 in Crossroad of Events (); followed by a 1958 film called Storm in Our Time (). She was known for the first romantic kiss to be portrayed in Iranian cinema, when she played opposite to Naser Malek Motiei in Crossroad of Events (1955). Sarou Ghahremani
Sarou Ghahremani ( 24 year old, born in Sanandaj, Iran) was an Iranian Kurdish citizen who, according to some media outlets, disappeared after taking part in a protest rally against the Iranian government in Sanandaj. According to his family, on Friday, January 12, 2018, his death was reported to them after 11 days of his arrest by the Sanandaj Information Office. On January 13, his body was buried only in the presence of his parents. It is said that Sarou was prisoned at the age of 18 as a political prisoner for a year and a half. Some media outlets in the Iranian government announced that he was a member of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan. Siamak Ghahremani (born January 7, 1974) is an Iranian American cultural event producer and radio host. He is a founder of the annual Noor Iranian Film Festival in Los Angeles and co-host of the talk show ''Popcorn'' on Radio Javan. He has also co-hosted the Sunday Morning Show on 670 AM KIRN. Arvin Nathaniel Ghahremani ( he, ארווין נתנאל בן סיונה) is an Iranian Jew whose pending execution by the Iranian government in May 2024 was subject to an international campaign calling for his commutation. Biography Ghahremani is an Iranian Jew from the city of Kermanshah in western Iran. In November 2022, then 18-year-old Ghahremani was involved in an altercation when seven men ambushed him at a gym, including Amir Shokri, a non-Jewish man who owed money to Gharemani. According to accounts, the man pulled a knife on Ghahremani, and the resulting altercation resulted in Shokri's death. Ghahremani was sentenced to ''qisas'' for murder, with the execution to be carried out at Kermanshah Central Prison on 18 May 2024, then 20 May 2024. Mohsen Ghahremani ( fa, محسن قهرمانی, born 30 June 1974 in Mashhad) is a retired Iranian football referee. Professional career Mohsen Ghahremani started his career in 1989 when he was only 15 years old. He became a national referee in 1999 and entered the international list in 2003. Until 2013, he was one of the official referees of FIFA. In the same year, he became the fourth referee to officiate the Jordan-Palestine match of the Athens 2004 Olympic qualifiers.
