Gewayantana Airport
Gewayantana Airport is an airport located in the village of Tiwatobi, Ile Mandiri, East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. It is about 10 km (6 miles) from the center of town and 15 km (9 miles) to Larantuka city. The runway was extended to at the beginning of August 2014. East Flores Regency ( id, Kabupaten Flores Timur) is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established in 1958, the regency has its seat (capital) in Larantuka on Flores Island. PT Wings Abadi Airlines, operating as Wings Air, is a scheduled commuter passenger low cost airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The airline operates out of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar as well as several other airports around Indonesia. El Tari Airport
El Tari International Airport ( id, Bandar Udara Internasional El Tari) is an airport in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The airport is named after El Tari (1926–1978), the governor of East Nusa Tenggara from 1966 to 1978. The airport's ICAO code was changed from WRKK to WATT in 2004. As of December 2018, there were at least 258 outbound flights per week from the airport. Development The airport is currently undergoing an expansion program. Two aero-bridge will be added and the terminal area will be expanded from current 7,400 square meters to 15,900 square meters. The terminal will be built into two floors with waiting rooms at the upper floor. Airlines and destinations The airport used to serve international routes to Dili and Darwin.
