Gersson Rosas
Gersson Rosas (born June 11, 1978) is a basketball executive who is a Senior Basketball Advisor of the New York Knicks. Rosas was also the president of basketball operations of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was previously the Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Houston Rockets, where he worked for 16 seasons, and served under Daryl Morey. Rosas was briefly GM of the Dallas Mavericks. He has also worked for Team USA Basketball as an international scout since 2015. Early career Born in Colombia, Rosas immigrated to the U.S. with his family when he was three years old. He attended the University of Houston from 1996 to 2000, graduating with a degree in sports and business management. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers are an American professional basketball team of the NBA G League based in Edinburg, Texas, and are affiliated with the Houston Rockets. The Vipers play their home games at the Bert Ogden Arena. The Vipers have won four league titles in 2010, 2013, 2019, and 2022, the most for any club in league history, and they also have made the most championship series in league history, having made it six times to the finals. Carroll Dawson is an American former assistant coach and general manager in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He worked for the Houston Rockets franchise for 27 years before retiring in 2007.
