Gerson Jackson
Gerson Jackson is a Micronesian politician and diplomat. Jackson served as the Lieutenant Governor of Kosrae for two-consecutive terms from 1995 to 2007. He was first elected Lieutenant Governor in 1994 as the running mate of Moses Mackwelung. Mackwelung and Jackson were sworn into office on January 9, 1995. Jackson was re-elected as Lieutenant Governor in 1998 as the running mate of gubernatorial candidate, Rensley Sigrah. Sigrah and Jackson were inaugurated on January 12, 1999. Gerson Jackson served as Consul-General of the Federated States of Micronesia to Guam from 2008 to October 17, 2011. He was confirmed to the office in April 2008, in a unanimous 12–0 vote by the Micronesian Congress. During his tenure, Jackson criticized increased tensions toward Micronesian migrants in Guam, especially on issues of crime and deportation. Robert Ruecho
Robert Ruecho is a Federated States of Micronesia, Micronesian politician and diplomat. Ruecho served as the Governor of Yap, one of the Administrative divisions of the Federated States of Micronesia, four states which make up the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), from 2003 to 2007. He became the Consul-General for FSM on neighboring Guam on October 17, 2011. Robert Ruecho was elected Governor of Yap in the 2002 gubernatorial election and took office in 2003. His running mate in 2002 was Joseph Habuchimai, who became Yap's lieutenant governor. Ruecho was defeated for re-election by Sebastian Anefal in 2006. Ruecho moved to Guam in 2008. KUAM-TV
KUAM-TV (channel 8) is a television station in Hagåtña (Agana), Guam, serving the U.S. territory as an affiliate of NBC and CBS. Owned by Pacific Telestations, LLC, it is sister to the local public access cable channel Local 2. KUAM-TV's studios are located at 600 Harmon Loop in Dededo, and its transmitter is located east-northeast of Agat. History KUAM was Guam's first television station, signing on August 5, 1956 on analog channel 8. It carried programming from all three networks, but has always been a primary NBC affiliate.
