Gerri Green
Gerri Green (pronounced Gary) (born September 14, 1995) is an American football defensive end for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Mississippi State and was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the New England Patriots and Washington Football Team. Early life and high school Green was born in Jackson, Mississippi and grew up in Greenville, Mississippi. He attended Greenville High School, where he was a standout defensive player for the Hornets. Rated a four-star recruit by several talent evaluators, Green played in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star and the Semper Fidelis Bowl after recording 98 tackles, including 11.5 for loss, and 5.0 sacks in his senior year. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. The Auburn Tigers football program represents Auburn University in the sport of American college football. The 2019 Senior Bowl was an all-star college football exhibition game played on January 26, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. CST, at Ladd–Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. It is the second-oldest company in the state of Mississippi, and is one of the few newspapers in the nation that continues to circulate statewide. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility.
