Geronay Whitebooi
Geronay Michaela Whitebooi (born 2 January 1996) is a South African judoka. She is a silver medalist at the 2019 African Games and a four-time medalist, including two golds, at the African Judo Championships. Whitebooi represented South Africa at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She competed in the women's 48 kg event. 2022 Commonwealth Games
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. The 12th African Games was held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. This was the first time that the African Games were hosted by Morocco following the country's readmission to the African Union in January 2017. This was the fifth time the sport has been on the program, since it was introduced as a demonstration sport in 1986, and made official at the next edition in 1990.
