Germán López (tennis)
Germán López Montoya (born 29 December 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. Career Lopez was runner-up in the 18 and Under category of the 1989 Orange Bowl, losing the final to Fernando Meligeni. The Spaniard made his first Grand Slam appearance in the 1991 French Open and in the opening round lost to Cristiano Caratti, despite winning the first two sets. He played in three further Grand Slam tournaments during his career, all in 1992. Only once did he make the second round, in the 1992 French Open, where he defeated Tomás Carbonell. He reached the quarter-finals at Madrid, Stuttgart and Guarujá in 1991. His victory over world number 10 Emilio Sánchez in Stuttgart was the biggest win of his career. Stuttgart Open
The Stuttgart Open (sponsored since 2022 by Hugo Boss and called BOSS Open) is an ATP Tour 250 series professional tennis tournament on the ATP Tour. Between 1970 and 1989, the Stuttgart Open was a Grand Prix tennis circuit event. From 1990 to 1999, the Stuttgart Open was an ATP Championship Series tournament. The Championship Series name was changed to ATP International Series Gold in 2000, and the Stuttgart Open was a part of this series from 2000–2001 and 2003–2008. Pablo Guillermo Arraya (born 21 October 1961) is a former tennis player from Peru. Arraya was born in Córdoba, Argentina, and moved to Peru at a young age with his family. He began playing tennis at 9 years old and turned professional in 1980. Carlos Costa (tennis)
Carles ("Carlos") Costa Masferrer (born 22 April 1968) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. Costa turned professional in 1988. He was among the game's leading clay court players in the early 1990s. Costa was runner-up at the 1992 Italian Open, and reached the fourth round at that year's French Open and US Open. Additionally, Costa won the Barcelona Open, a tournament hosted by the tennis club where he grew up. In May 1992, he reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 10. Costa retired in 1999. The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments.
