Germán Beltrán (athlete)
Germán Beltrán Juarez (born 26 October 1979) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a forward, currently a manager, who is in charge of Gernika Club. He spent most of his career in Segunda División B, making 256 appearances and scoring 49 goals for six clubs, mainly Barakaldo. Professionally, he played 36 times in Segunda División for Eibar and Girona, scoring once for each. Playing career Born in Alcañiz, Aragon, Beltrán began his career with Real Madrid, playing no higher than the reserves in Segunda División B. In June 2008, after contributing 15 third-division goals for Barakaldo CF, he signed a two-year contract with Segunda División club SD Eibar with a €1.2 million buyout clause. In Beltrán's first season with the Basques they were relegated, and he only scored in a 2–3 home loss against Real Zaragoza on 25 April 2009. Alcañiz
Alcañiz () is a town and municipality of Teruel province in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. The town is located on the banks of the river Guadalope. Alcañiz is the unofficial capital of the Lower Aragon historical region. It lies some 113 km from Teruel, the provincial capital, and 92 km from Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon. Jordi Xumetra Feliú (born 24 October 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for UE Olot. Club career Born in L'Estartit, Girona, Catalonia, Xumetra finished his development at FC Barcelona, but only played for Tercera División clubs in his first years as senior. In 2006, he signed with Girona FC also in that league, being part of the squads that achieved two consecutive promotions in two years. On 30 August 2008, Xumetra appeared in his first match as a professional, coming on as a late substitute in a 1–0 away win over RC Celta de Vigo in the Segunda División. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The 2009–10 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 29 August 2009, and the season ended on 19 June 2010. Real Betis, Numancia and Recreativo de Huelva are the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. The teams which were promoted from Segunda División B were: Cádiz (champion), Cartagena (runner-up), Real Unión (play-off winner) and Villarreal B (play-off winner).
