Germán Arenas y Zuñiga (May 1870 – 10 April 1948) was a Peruvian lawyer and politician. He was a member of the Civilista Party. He was born in Lima, Peru. He graduated from the National University of San Marcos. The Civilista Party ( es, Partido Civil, PC) was a political party in Peru. History Founded as a countermeasure against the growing power of the military in Peru during the first half of the Republic, the party's sole purpose was to establish a civilian rule in the country.
