German Girls Open
The German Boys & Girls Open is an annual international amateur golf tournament in Germany for boys and girls under the age of 18. The tournament, founded in 2004 and held at Golf Club St. Leon-Rot near Heidelberg, is organized by the German Golf Association. It is a qualifying event for the European team in the Junior Ryder Cup and the Junior Solheim Cup and has been rated up to level "A" in the World Amateur Golf Ranking The World Amateur Golf Ranking for men was introduced by The R&A, the governing body of the sport of golf outside the United States and Mexico, on 23 January 2007. Karolin Lampert (born 20 February 1995) is a German professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. She was part of the winning team Johanna Gustavsson at the 2022 Aramco Team Series – New York. Amateur career Lampert was a member of the National Team from 2008. With the team, she came second in the 2012 Espirito Santo Trophy, the world amateur team golf championship for women. Individually, she was German Girls Champion in 2011 and 2012 and won the 2012 Spanish International Ladies Amateur Championship. She represented Europe at the Junior Solheim Cup in 2013. Emily Kristine Pedersen (born 7 March 1996) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. She had a successful amateur career winning the 2013 International European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2014 British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship.
