Geri Maye
Geri Maye is an Irish presenter on radio and television who worked predominantly on Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). She was born in County Limerick. She used to work for RTÉ on ''The Den'' (children's television). Then she left RTÉ and went to Sydney before returning to present a show on RTÉ lyric fm. She was once engaged to Ray D'Arcy but the wedding was called off at the last minute. She was also engaged to judge Brian Purcell from ''The Apprentice''. She married Peter Collins, a business man from Limerick, in 2012. On 21 December 2011, RTÉ announced her as the new co-presenter of ''Winning Streak''. Kathryn Thomas
Kathryn Thomas (born 20 January 1979) is an Irish television presenter. Early life Thomas attended the national school on the Green Road, Carlow and began her secondary school years in St Leo's College, Carlow. In her second year, she transitioned to The King's Hospital in Dublin as a boarder. She studied Arts (English, Sociology and Information Studies) at University College Dublin but left before finishing as she won a contract to present the children's television programme ''Rapid''. She also took London Guildhall acting exams to Grade 8. Television Thomas's break into television came when she co-presented ''Rapid'', a youth sports show, with Dublin GAA star Jason Sherlock during the 1990s. ''Winning Streak'' is an Irish television game show. The show was broadcast weekly in Ireland between 1990 and 2020 on RTÉ One. Typical episodes of the show would see contestants take part in a number of games to win cars, holidays, and cash prizes up to €500,000. Broadcast as RTÉ's flagship Saturday night show between early September and late May, the show brought consistently high ratings for the channel, often ranking among the top five in the ratings and at one point held the feat of being Europe's second longest-running game show (behind only Channel 4's ''Countdown''). However, there was a significant drop in viewership during the 2008/2009 series. The show first aired on 21 September 1990 with host Mike Murphy (1990–2001) and Derek Mooney (2001–2008). ''The Apprentice'' is an Irish reality television series, in which a group of aspiring young businessmen and women compete for the chance to win a job as "apprentice" to Bill Cullen, an Irish businessman. The first series of the show aired on TV3 on 22 September 2008, and finished on 8 December 2008, with Brenda Shanahan as the winner. Shanahan worked at Cullen's company, Renault Ireland, on a 12-month contract worth €100,000. Steve Rayner, a Business Development Manager, won the second series in 2009. Raymond Michael D'Arcy (born 1 September 1964) is an Irish television and radio presenter currently on his second stint at state broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). He once presented a self-titled weekday morning radio programme on the Denis O'Brien-owned Today FM. His professional partner on that show, Jenny Kelly, became his wife on 24 August 2013 and they have two children: Tom (born June 2012) and Kate (born 25 November 2006).
