Gergő Nagy (ice Hockey)
Gergo Nagy (born October 10, 1989) is a Hungarian professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Hungarian club, Ferencvárosi TC who compete in the Erste Liga. Nagy returned to Alba Volan on July 1, 2015, after two North American seasons within the Chicago Wolves organization of the American Hockey League (AHL). Ferencvárosi Torna Club Jégkorong Szakosztály is a Hungarian ice hockey team that currently plays in the OB I bajnokság and in the Erste Liga. They play their home games at Tüskecsarnok, located in Budapest. In 1950–1951 the club was named ''ÉDOSZ Budapest'' and from 1951 to 1957 it was named ''Budapesti Kinizsi''. 2009 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships
The 2009 Men's Ice Hockey World Championships was the 73rd such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams representing 46 countries participated in four levels of competition. The competition also served as qualifications for division placements in the 2010 competition. In the Division I Championship held in April, Kazakhstan and Italy were promoted to the Championship division, while Australia and Romania were demoted to Division II. In the Division II competition, Serbia and South Korea were promoted, North Korea and South Africa were relegated to Division III. In the Division III competition, New Zealand and Turkey were promoted to Division II for 2009. The 2009 IIHF World Championship was held in Switzerland between April 24 and May 10, 2009 with events being held in both Bern and Kloten. The Quad City Mallards were a minor league professional ice hockey team based in the Quad Cities area of Illinois and Iowa that competed in the International Hockey League, Central Hockey League and ECHL. They were named after the Mallards team that played in the United Hockey League from 1995 to 2007, this Mallards franchise marked their debut in 2009 in the International Hockey League. Ferencvárosi Torna Club, known as Ferencváros (), Fradi, or simply FTC, is a professional football club based in Ferencváros, Budapest, Hungary, that competes in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the top flight of Hungarian football.
