Gerardo Flores Zúñiga
Gerardo Flores Zúñiga (born 5 February 1986) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Club career Zacatepec Gerardo Flores began his football career with cross town club Zacatepec FC in Morelos, Mexico. During his stay at Zacatepec, he would be called to the Mexican squad that would participate in the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship held in Finland by coach Julio Grondona. Gerardo Flores played only one match with Zacatepec, in a quarter final game of the Clausura 2004 season versus Club Leon . Monterrey Flores came to CF Monterrey in 2005. he began playing with Monterrey's B team in the Primera A, but eventually rose to the first team. Xochitepec
Xochitepec is a ''municipio (Mexico), municipio'' (Municipalities of Mexico, municipality) of the Mexican state, state of Morelos, in central Mexico. Xochitepec is also the name of its principal township and seat of the municipal government. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX. The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 1907. After a lengthy hiatus that began in 1997, it was restored in 2012. On early editions of the cup, it consisted of both professional and amateur stages. The Liguilla will have the teams play two games against each other on a home-and-away basis. The winner of each match up will be determined by aggregate score. the higher seeded team will advance if the aggregate is a tie. 2008 Copa Libertadores
The 2008 Copa Libertadores de América was the 49th edition of the Copa Libertadores, CONMEBOL's premier annual international club tournament. This marked the first year the competition was sponsored by Spanish bank Santander. As such, the competition is officially the 2008 Copa Santander Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons.
