Gerard Oram
Gerard ("Gerry") Oram is a notable British cultural and social historian, with a particular interest in the First World War. He was a researcher at the University of Birmingham and the University of Swansea, before going on to teach at the Open University. He lectures at Swansea University teaching on a number of modules including ''Nazi Occupied Europe'' and ''the First World War''. Oram also lectured at Cardiff University where he taught the ''War, Liberation and Reconstruction: Europe 1939-51'' module. Open University
The Open University (OU) is a British public research university and the largest university in the United Kingdom by number of students. The majority of the OU's undergraduate students are based in the United Kingdom and principally study off-campus; many of its courses (both undergraduate and postgraduate) can also be studied anywhere in the world. Imperial War Museum
Imperial War Museums (IWM) is a British national museum organisation with branches at five locations in England, three of which are in London. Founded as the Imperial War Museum in 1917, the museum was intended to record the civil and military war effort and sacrifice of Britain and British Empire, its Empire during the First World War.
